The exhibition season started in February with the EasyFairs Packaging Innovations in Birmingham where Craemer UK was present for the first time. As one of the main packaging exhibitions in the UK, EasyFairs Packaging Innovations connects leading industry suppliers specialising in all aspects of packaging making it an ideal kick-off event for Craemer UK.
In 2013, the Fishing Expo in Glasgow ceased and was replaced by a number of smaller Skipper Expos in different regions of the UK and Ireland. As a result, Craemer UK can now address the different regions and market requirements of the fishing industry individually. At Skipper Expo Galway, Ireland Craemer UK showcased its portfolio of products for the fishing industry and also presented a product innovation: The first fish box with integrated RFID transponder that facilitates complete tracking and tracing. By developing this "intelligent", patent pending solution the Craemer Group offers a new generation of fish boxes that will make process sequences throughout the entire transport and logistics chain simpler, faster and more transparent. This innovation - together with a selection of Craemer UK's product portfolio - will also be showcased at Skipper Expo Aberdeen, Scotland in May and at Skipper Expo Bournemouth, England later this year.
Following the excursion into the world of fishing was a presence at FOODEX 2014 in Birmingham, one of the leading UK shows for the food and drink processing industry. There, the Craemer UK team showcased its portfolio of innovative plastic pallet and container solutions which are particularly interesting to the industry as Craemer products offer excellent cleaning properties and meet all technical and hygienic requirements. The focus at FOODEX 2014 was on the customer to ensure that individual application needs are being met. Personal conversations at trade exhibitions are ideal to start a dialogue and discuss individual requirements clients might have and the team was happy to present solutions Craemer UK can provide.
